Product Description

613F Resin is a fast-curing epoxy resin, 2 to 3 hours, designed for use on materials that can withstand temperatures up to 140 °C. Free from carcinogens, mutagens and reprotoxins.

The resin provides very little shrinkage and adheres perfectly to all types of materials, and has very good chemical resistance. Perfect for embedding metallographic samples with complex shapes, are porous or require delicate coating techniques.

613F Resin must be used on materials that can tolerate temperatures up to 140 °C and is recommended to obtain fast, hard, transparent embedding.

AGG6736L: 1000 ml liquid resin

Dosage: 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener

Polymerisation time: 2-3 hours at 20 °C

Hardness: 85 Shore D

Exothermic temperature: 140 °C**

Volumetric shrinkage: Very low, 0 µm if used with the MM808 machine

Presence of CMR*: None

Suitable for impregnation: Yes

* CMR: Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, Reprotoxic.

** Exothermic temperature during polymerization for a 40g resin sample at 20 °C.
