Product Description

Plastic moulding putty (similar to plasticine) for positioning and levelling awkwardly shaped samples for microscopy. Easy to shape, acrylic base material stays elastic and does not harden, odourless, easy to remove and reusable. Deep blue colour gives good contrast with microscope and most specimens. 113gm (1/4lb).

Applications include:

  • Positioning putty for awkwardly shaped objects
  • Levelling putty for polished metallographic mounts or samples for reflected light microscopy
  • Positioning support for embedding
  • Moulding material
