Eosin is a brominated fluorescein dye derivative used as an acidic red stain for cell cytoplasm. It is a counterstain to haemotoxylin and colours red blood cells, cytoplasmic material, cell membranes and extracellular structures pink or red.
25g. Available either as water soluble (Eosin Y - yellowish) or spirit soluble (Eosin B - bluish).
