Q, DEAE, S and CM Super Resins strong anion exchange, weak anion exchange, strong cation exchange and weak cation exchange media, respectively. They are specially designed for high resolution purification of biological molecules in which impure components are hard to separate by normal bioprocessing chromatography media.
This group of ion-exchange media has a balanced design among ligand density, loading capacity and separation power of individual components for large-scale biomanufacturing applications.
The base matrix is made of highly cross-linked agarose beads of smaller size (20 – 50 m) with excellent flow property. It is very stable to most of the chemical conditions experienced in the bioprocessing industry.
