All wire saws are manufactured at WELL's premises in Switzerland, quality checked and tested with a wide range of samples. The saws can be supplied with a range of accessories specifically designed to suit cutting and sectioning applications.
The wire saws produce clean cuts and have a minimal effect on the structure of samples. They can be used on any material except diamond.
The cutting action is gravity-fed, so the pressure on the sample can be minimised by reducing the angle of the saw. This, alongside the excellent quality of the diamond wire, means that cuts are so clean that polishing and grinding steps are often eliminated completely.

- Material temperature during the cutting is the same as the environment or lower
